Aliso Beach

I don’t know that I have ever gotten a bad picture at the beach. Even with the mid-day harsh light with hundreds of people, a whale once popped up and winked at me.

This fine morning the June gloom of Laguna conspired against me and still, I got a solid pic. A 15-stop filter enabled me to take a 6 minute exposure blending the soft blue green of the sea with the afore mentioned gloom. I find gazing into the picture just as relaxing as planting my ass in the sand, but there are no whales in my living room to meet. So, back to the beach I will go.
