I have driven by this ranch everyday for about 8 years. I have seen it in every type of weather. It is what first endeared me to this area. There is usually a cow or two out there, but on this day the fog was in and the rain had saturated the color of the spring leaving only a loan tree with a gigantic “S.” Later that year a new kind of storm came in, and left a sign signaling the residential madness to come. I have since left this area. Chased out by tractors, traffic, and progress. It is inevitable I guess, which makes my new home inevitably not my last.
