I rolled into Kennebunkport around noon to a massive amount of people and even more shops. Am I the only one that yearns for something made by somebody from the area or at least with something found in the area? We were told by the algorithms that we must have a lobster roll at Alisson’s so we sought out parking in the back of the crowded streets. I popped out of the car and there they were. 3 dinghies lined up perfectly. I took out my newly minted trusty iphone and snapped a pic thinking that symmetry like this only happens in photoshop. We continued to shop for the rest of the day, and I ended up coming to Kennebunkport to buy something made in Amsterdam. The next morning, I thought I might be able to get a picture with no one in it if I got out early enough and despite the tourist trap nightmare that it had been at high noon, KBP (Im sick of typing it out) revealed its charm. I thought to myself, “No fucking way those Dinghies are still there and there’s even less chance of them lined up.” I peeked around the storefront and there they were. Just as the sun was about to rise giving a nice even light with the fall color in the background. I’ll admit. It looks like a Milton Bradley puzzle from 1982, but now I know those were real too. So, in the end I did go home with something made in KBP.
